About Us

Pair Cupworks is built on the pursuit of the things we are passionate about. We are a nationally award-winning specialty coffee roastery with wholesale clients across the US and internationally in Europe and Asia. We began roasting in 2017 and opened our first coffee bar in the East Valley area of Arizona in 2020. Since then, we have built a reputation for being knowledgeable in our technical craft.

Our roaster and co-founder Kimhak is the public face of the company and has a culinary background. He has over 30 years of experience in the food-service industry in both front and back-of-the-house operations. Our co-founder Eugenia is responsible for Pair's original brand graphics and has a mixed background working between commercial illustration/graphic design and structural engineering.

Each one of our team members is highly talented, skilled, reliable, creative, and self-motivated with a drive for self-improvement, but most importantly, we all harbor a deep love and appreciation for the craft of specialty coffee.

    Welcome to our shop of coffee and drinkware accessories. We are Kimhak and Eugenia, the original duo behind PAIR~

    Thank you so much to our customers who have kept us in business through the pandemic and to those checking us out for the first time. We are grateful to be able to do what we love while exploring the beautiful world of specialty coffee with you 🖤

    We started as a tiny, micro-batch roastery selling beans online, working our day jobs while stoking the embers of our mini passion project during our spare time. We were able to grow organically from online sales to our physical cafes by standing on the backs of giants who believed in us and taught us the importance of shared values and community. Now as established business owners, we are trying to enable others to do what they love too, all while making great coffee and memorable experiences for you.
